Is there a portable car GPS system made that will show the point of interests on the screen while driving?

I Want to see all the icons on a moving map. I have experience with factory NAV systems (such as Audi A8) and these systems do this. You can choose the type of POI’s you do and don’t want to see and they will be all over the map as you drive. All the Gas stations, Restaurants, ATM’s, Library’s, Museums, etc. Does Tomtom or Magellan or any others allow this?? Thanks, Landon
