Garmin streetpilot c580 GPS 2009 map update?

I have a Garmin Streepilot c580 GPS and I want to do a map update to 2009 map. I went on Garmin’s website, but they want me to pay $70 for the map. So I am wondering if I can just download the 2009 map from, say, bitTorrent, and have it install into my GPS?
And if I can, how do I put the new map into my GPS?
