Also, I have used my GPS to go to a friend’s new house a few times, each time leaving from my house, and the GPS took me a different route every time. This doesn’t make sense to me. I also feel like it takes me a very round-about way sometimes instead of sending me on the quickest way. Why is this?

Hi I am about to purchase a gps car navigation unit, basically I am driving from MO to Orlando and back and think it would be better than mapquest. Of these two that I mentioned above, what would you recommend and what are the pros and cons if you have experienced any? The Magellan and Garmin are almost a hundred bucks cheaper but the Tomtom seem to have more features , I don’t know! But these are the three cheapest models out there. Thanks people.
