My Magellan Triton 300 is off about 16/17 miles when i input coordinates into it, what is wrong?

I have a Magellan 300 and whenever i enter coordinates in it they are always off by about 16/17 miles in the SE direction. I input the coordinates right and everything is fine. What am i/the gps doing wrong?

P.S. And it says i have full satellite reception.

Maybe it was programed into your device because consumer GPS devices are not 100% accurate as to your location, this I think, not being an expert
